Casey Alexander grew up in Chatanooga, played basketball at Belmont, started his coaching career at Belmont, coached some other places, and then came back to be the head coach at Belmont for seven years. It was cool to see a successful handoff from Byrd to Alexander that allowed Belmont to elevate to MVC and continue to be one of the better mid-major brands in CBB. Hope the next coach keeps it going. TSU is in a dangerous area. Eddie George bailed for BGSU as soon as it opened. Plus, the OVC is a sinking ship. Even Tennessee Tech is leaving.
