Here are some nuggets for Ohio. Can't say many of them are surprises. -Simmons will be the focal point -Mitchell and KDA project to be the starting guards -Need Kuany and Burris to make jumps from last year. The comments about the two sound more confident towards Kuany but that's not a knock on Burris -Ledegen and Makitan probably rounding out the starting five. Ledegen's shooting percantages at Okapi Aalst went .571/.411/.813 -Brogan a "pleasant surprise". And he's a point guard. Mom played in the WNBA. Dad was a McDonalds All-American in the 80s and played a season at USC and three at Pepperdine -Brogan being a dual citizen allowed him to be with the team in the summer. The shooting percentages aren't eye-watering 45/33/70 but they're plenty good as long as he's not the #1 or #2 option (yet). But the dude is a stat-sheet STUFFER. 17.7 pts, 6.3 reb, 7.4 ast, 2.2 stl. Boals loves those PG's who do it all. Looks eerily similar to a line of 16.8 pts, 6.4 reb, 7.4 ast, 1.4 stl (19-20 Jason Preston) 15.7 pts, 7.3 reb, 7.3 ast, 1.5 stl (20-21 Jason Preston) 19.6 pts, 6.0 reb, 4.1 ast, 1.7 stl (21-22 Mark Sears) If he's willing to play SF rather than backup PG, giving our 3 guard lineup some length - he could carve out a serious spot on this roster IMO. Never thought about him playing SF but that's a good idea. If you look at his HS recruiting profile, it has him listed as a SF. I definitely could see him being a 'gadget' type of player.
