There is also Drew Cox and Dyland Shepherd who had about 60 ABs each who are returning. Pitching only returns a spattering of guys that were part of a historically bad bullpen. Truly a clean slate for coach See. When following a 14-37 season, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. But there are several good bats departing. We knew Slanker was too good to keep. I'm most disappointed that Ineich did not stay another year and try to really elevate his profile before making the jump. As for what is coming in, who knows...but I am not seeing anything earth shattering yet.
